Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for Conservation Efforts
Provost & Pritchard prepared Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for the Nature Conservancy to facilitate the Conservancy’s conservation efforts. Provost & Pritchard completed a Phase I ESA for the Foor 2 Ranch property, a 515-acre cattle ranch and rural residential property located in southern Tehama County, prior to The Nature Conservancy purchasing a conservation easement for the property. Additionally, Provost & Pritchard assisted The Nature Conservancy in preparing a Phase I ESA for 900+ acres of farmland located along the west side of the Sacramento River, south of Hamilton City in Glenn County. The Nature Conservancy, which had leased a majority of the acreage to tenant farmers, transferred the land to a local Reclamation District after the Phase I ESA and supplemental investigations were completed.
