Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP)
Provost & Pritchard staff have worked with clients to comply with the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP) as detailed in the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board’s General Order R5-2013-0120, “Waste Discharge Requirements General Order for Growers within the Tulare Lake Basin Area that are Members of a Third-Party Group.” Our successful track record includes managing ILRP compliance work with multiple third-party groups representing growers, including the Kern River Watershed Coalition Authority (KRWCA) and Kaweah Basin Water Quality Association (KBWQA). Our staff has a thorough knowledge of existing regulatory requirements and the technical expertise to implement all ILRP components, including developing water quality monitoring programs and managing grower reporting requirements. Provost & Pritchard staff have worked extensively with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board on behalf of numerous clients including dairies, food processors, and municipalities.
Tasks have included:
Grower outreach event coordination and correspondence
Groundwater quality assessment
Surface water monitoring
Agricultural management practices evaluation
Regulatory advocacy for member growers
Website design and maintenance, database development
